Last Sunday night we went camping in Boisdale! This was my first time camping since 2007 so I was pretty anxious about it. It seemed it was going to rain but aside from a bit of misting we managed to escape it! Also, the way the land was laid out, we had a hill of trees blocking us from all of the Bras D'or Lakes wind.
Shane's family owns the land, it's gorgeous. We camped with Shane, Steph, Bill, and June plus had some visitors. I embraced the full nature of camping. Lots of pissing in the woods, drinking beer, and totally went to bed way earlier than the majority.
I think this was the first time that Josh and I didn't end up camping on a piss pour rainy night. Great success!
Totally a fun time. A really cool spot on the island. I think I may have also had a life changing realization.

I had a life changing experience last night. I made a lasagna ( I never make lasagna) and it was as good as Erma's! Holy shit, the hole in my heart has been filled!
