Causeway Coffee

Da and I hopped on our bikes this morning in the middle of a downpour to meet Josh and Bri-Bri for coffee at the causeway. My feet were soaked before I left my driveway of puddles.
It was a super cool mission though. We took the 125 to the mainland and hit Route 4 on the way home. Basically we did a major loop.
Yes, everyone was right, Route 4 is in a state of construction chaos. Chantal & Al told me it wasn't too bad. I should not have taken their word for it. HA! I did some sort of drop off into a hole in the road, accordion'd my front shocks and ended up with a bent fender. Whatevs. It was a fun ride and I made my bike the dirtiest it's ever been.
Also, I learned that my hands will stain forever when my gloves are used for rain riding.. and the chaps will ensure a soaking wet ass while keeping your legs somewhat dry. Surprised? Me neither.
