Gen XX

I went to Generation XX, an indoor skate park, in Summerside to practice roller skating drills with some of the Red Rock 'N' Roller Derby girls. There were only about 8 people (I think) and it wasn't an ideal practice spot but it was really nice to skate on slippery concrete as opposed to the Holland College's broken tile floor. I finally nailed a couple t-stops and spins. Still waiting on the crossovers but whatevs. Bonnie 'N' Collide was hittin' ramps and did this kick ass skate forward with leg out move (see photo)! Angst of Grief Gables was lookin' full of confidence. It was a super awkward venue but it was nice to be on the skates since I know I might miss the next practice. It's bad when you're worried that work is interfering with your derby schedule.
